Who is Ekram?

Ekram is a journalist, Harvard Kennedy School graduate, and spiritual scholar. She is the creator and producer of the Ambie-nominated podcast Love Right Now on Audible, exploring stories of alchemy and forbidden love across the MENA region.

Her scholarship began at twenty, with comparative study across the Abrahamic faiths, and carried her through Hindu philosophy and the Indigenous traditions of the Americas before calling her home to her own roots. In 2018 she began her initiation into the spiritual lineage of Ancient Egypt, returning over the years to study at its sacred sites. She trained in ritual arts and Egyptian mysticism with Isis Indrya and is an initiate of the Academy of Oracle Arts.

A lifelong dancer, writer, and speaker, Ekram believes we were born into a time of great turning and that ritual is among the most powerful tools we have for moving through it with grace. Now based in New York, she hosts monthly gatherings rooted in Egyptian mysticism and astrology with focus on the practice of intentional living.
